A New Approach to Reading Lists: Five Books Blog

Do you ever get sick of seeing reading lists of hundreds of be-all, end-all titles that everyone must read? There's 1001 book titles list floating around out there somewhere, not to mention all the bestseller lists at the end of each year, plus the classics lists, the subject lists, etc. But it can all get to be too much, making even the most avid of readers feel overwhelmed and under-read.

Not to worry: FiveBooks does it different. The FiveBooks motto is simple:

    I can totally get behind this concept. I mean, have you SEEN my Classics list?? It's overwhelming. I can handle five books at a time though.

    I like browsing through these lists and seeing what all the various suggestions are under any given topic. As long as you take them with a grain of salt and think they are a good idea. I especially likethe sound of these lists. I love reading what authors enjoy to read

    Thanks all! I think it's a really great way to see new books on various subjects (especially as I can guilt-free just skip the subjects that I am totally not interested in).
