    Great choices! I loved Parnassus on Wheels and Americanah, and The Engagements is on my list!

    I'm in the middle of My Life in Middlemarch and though I enjoy it, I don't think it will be a classic because it is so scholarly in tone. If you love Middlemarch, you'll like it, but probably not otherwise!
