Come one, come all, to the 2016 Clean Your Reader Challenge.
The goal is simple: read as many (or as few) e-books from your e-reader as you like over a three-month period (January through March 2016). Because I'm not great at hosting (or participating in) challenges with lots of rules and regulations, that's all there is for structure, but here are a few guidelines and suggestions:
- Tag your Instagram, Facebook and/or Twitter updates with #CleanYourReader to follow along in the conversation
- Tell us how many books you're going to try to knock out on your reader of choice--and, if you're the list-making type, what books those might be?
- Share your e-book buying weaknesses (mine: those $1.99-$2.99 sales on fiction titles particularly)
- Feel free to double-count books for this challenge with others going on simultaneously (like Andi's #ReadMyOwnDamnBooks, a "You Do You" Reading Effort)
If you care to join in, link up below. I'll post some regular check-ins throughout the three-month period, and then a culmination post sometime in April for those who will blog about their adventures, but no pressure to do so if that's not your style. If there enough people participating, I'll try to pull together some kind of prize at the end of the quarter (which, whatever it may be, will be available internationally).
